We have at disposal the most suitable and appropriate equipment to make simple, strengthened, super-strengthened and armed mulch grassing on strongly degraded soils or simple surfaces involved in remar- kable terrain movements such as slopes in motorway or railway areas, dumping grounds, river and lake banks, ski slopes and quarries.
Reforestation on surfaces formed by landfill soils on hills, quarry slopes or river banks, reclaimed areas in dumping grounds or areas subject to landslide is carried out by means of native plants of any species and dimension. Such plants are accompanied by quality certificates as provided for by UNI EN ISO 9002 standards and by to-sanitary passports, which are today available for many cultivated species.
In order to cover slopes or river banks when inclination or erosion is particularly strong we use trellis or geotextiles made of organic or plastic material.
Moreover we create structures of reinforced earth for partial or total retaining of landslides or landslipping as well as living pole systems in pine wood, larch wood, chestnut wood to reinforce and cover concrete or rock structures.
The visual impact created by mountain and hill quarries, concrete walls and rock cliffs, which have been built to retain embankments or sloping terrains, are conveniently treated with non-toxic mineral salts in order to precede the slow work of nature. Reacting by oxide reduction with the minerals contained in the rock mineral salts accelerate the ageing process. For treatment to mitigate the visual impact we do not use substances which could be toxic to humans, animals or the environment.
